Bio / Background
23 year old singer/songwriter Brandon Chandler is proving to be a rare breed among other songwriters
in his generation. Originally from Louisiana Chandler relocated to Portland Oregon at a young age, but his southern roots continue to echo loudly through his soulful crooning. Brandon’s careful songwriting and pop conscious blues driven guitar have drawn comparisons from
Ben Harper to Jason Mraz, but his strong soulful melodies have helped him create a sound of his own.
In late 2006 Chandler teamed up with Nashville native Peter Rodocker of yellow room recording to record his first LP titled "after all this time". Shortly thereafter Peter joined the band on lead guitar along with Brian Huffman on bass, and former broadway performer Dennis Dove on drums (Bring in da funk, Bring in da noise)to form "Brandon Chandler & The Revival". The CD produced by Rodocker has already received radio play up down the west coast. Most notably on KINK 101.9 in Portland, OR.
