The Bradley Vail Band is distinctive in a market that has become saturated in the past decade. While much worship music relies on musical and lyrical cliché, The Bradley Vail Band elevates the entire genre.
The Bradley Vail Band’s newest CD, Return, is a textured blend of American music. One can hear marked threads of classic rock, folk, gospel, soul, and blues. This reflects the band’s varied influences, from the Grateful Dead to Johnny Cash to The Call. But the band’s distinction comes from its prophetic lyrics, all written by Bradley Vail, and the voice-in-the-wilderness quality of Bradley Vail’s vocals. The songs are dramatic and dreamy, while at the same time human and accessible.
Formed in 2002, the Bradley Vail Band launched its unique worship experience first in the San Bernardino Valley in California. The tremendous response to the band (in a region waterlogged with bands) reflects a real hunger for quality music and worship.
