Bob Harp's alt country tunes aren't quite country or folk blues, but something with roots falling happily in between.
Bio / Background
Bob Harp is a singer-songwriter residing most of the time in the San Francisco Bay area. His alt. country tunes aren't quite country or folk-blues, but something with roots falling happily in between.
Bob would have liked to spent time with Muddy Waters on Stovall's Plantation; rode freight trains with Johnny Cash, gotten drunk on red wine with Bob Dylan in 1962 New York City; or listened to Neil Young under a Harvest Moon- but he was born too late.
Still, he is more than happy to sip Budweiser bottles, play his Gibson and harmonicas and sing some tunes in the Bay Area or wherever the road takes him.
Bob's days on the East Coast, the clouds of the midwest, the storms of Oklahoma or even that week stranded in Texas are all part of his story and he doesn't like to be defined by any one word. Two or three words is always better.
