Bio / Background
From one of the most well known stories in human history comes the second offering from Babylon Mystery Orchestra. However, "On Earth As It Is In Heaven" is no ordinary tale. Culled from ancient and controversial texts, it is the story of the origin of music itself. Built on a backdrop of fallen angels and the well known flood story, this is a tale of the highest treachery and betrayal. The story of angels that knowingly violate the laws of God for one brief moment of world domination, bringing with them a forbidden knowledge and behavior.
Since this is Babylon Mystery Orchestra, you know there has to be a twist to this story. The music brought into this world was, by no means, a benevolent form of entertainment. Music was used to actively teach and promote violence and debauchery. It's ultimately successful purpose: to decieve the whole of mankind and drive them away from God. By it's description, this music could easily be called rock and roll.
