Bio / Background

When Mel Eubanks and Jamie Hunter ran into each other at a Nashville nightclub it had been over ten years since they had seen one another. When they decided to get together and jam the next weekend they had no idea what was about to happen. They started having so much fun trading guitar licks and pounding out old blues, rock, and r&b classics that they began experimenting with some new ideas. The experiment resulted in a scorching blend of Texas Blues, Chicago Blues, and Southern Rock. Bluesball draws from every musical influence they have ever had, and this debut CD serves up a full course meal of ten tasty originals.
