Singer-songwriter Brent Orndorff has created a unique original style which blends Rock, Blues, Folk & more.
Bio / Background
Blue News was formed in January of 2005. The band, originally called �The Blue News Project�, consisted of 2 members in the beginning & would become a trio by June of 2005. This trio recorded the debut album, which was released by Statue Records Hollywood in January of 2006. The band toured in early 2006 to promote the album and played live in several Midwestern cities including; Chicago, Louisville, Indianapolis & St. Louis.
Since then, the band has undergone some changes and has returned to it's roots as a 2 member band.

Brent has been a lead vocalist since the age of 13. He began in a band made up of schoolmates called The Groove Parade in 1992, which was later signed in 1996 to the independent record label, Celestial Records.

Kraig Kerins

Drums, Percussion
Kraig is currently in the School of Music at Vincennes University where he has studied Music Theory, Audio Production & Drum Performance. Kraig has been drumming for over a decade and is featured on the debut album from the band Situs.

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, The Doors, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, The White Stripes, Radiohead, Nirvana, Pink Floyd and many more.
Both Brent & Kraig have several personal favorites, but fans & reviewers agree that there is a unique quality to the band's original songs.
The Future:
With excellent reviews of the new album, and great responses to recent live shows, it�s hard to say what�s in store for Blue News. One thing is certain�this band won�t be going anywhere but up. Their powerful and unique sound is undeniable and their continued success is inevitable as they�re constantly working to reach the next level and the next.
Look forward to seeing the band on tour in the US and beyond in the near future, and expect an upcoming album about to begin production.
Recent news for the band includes; A radio campaign beginning in May with Vigilant Promotions, plus promotional help from Magnet Media, IODA & inGrooves Distribution.
