Crossing generations with Christian rock, jazz/soul, a little pop, a dash of harmonica, with a bit of yodeling, it all equals soul satisfying.
Bio / Background
Liz, Beth, Sam, Blake, and Isaac are the creative energy behind the band Blameless Child. The band formed five years ago (2002) when siblings - Liz (guitar, lead vocals, composer), Beth (bass, vocals, composer), and Sam (drums, composer) were 11, 12, and 13 years old. The trio were prompted by frustration and an urgent desire to call public attention to an incurable genetic disease called Machado Joseph Disease (www.ijdf.net). Liz, Beth & Sam wrote their first song “Blameless Child” in memory of their favorite Aunt Darla who had Machado Joseph Disease. Darla had an incredible faith in God, however, the teens watched their aunt for many years suffer from this disease, Darla died in the year 2000.

Growing up in the church (their father was a Pastor), knowing the power of God, and wanting to help others who have Machado Joseph Disease - Liz, Beth and Sam made their first CD “Blameless Child“ giving it away to all who would listen… the CD traveled the world… from the USA, Canada, Europe, Israel and Taiwan.
As life evolves so did "Blameless Child" - music became a passion for the teens. Voice, guitar, and drum lessons were pursued. Another CD was made and produced by Good Shepherd Studios out of Chico, CA.
A ministry developed as “Blameless Child” led High School Worship, played at Juvenile Halls, and ministered to people of all ages with their music. In 2006 “Blameless Child” traveled almost 5000 miles throughout California - not only do they play their music at these venues, they pray, give their testimony, hand out free Bibles, and intermix with kids and adults as they show their love and encouragement to others.
In the summer of 2006 Blameless Child added two new band members - their younger brother Isaac (key board, vocals, and cowbell, etc...) And good friend Blake who plays an awesome lead guitar - Liz says, “We are excited to have Blake and Isaac as part of Blameless Child! They add more dynamics to our music! Blameless Child is committed to speak boldly for the LORD! We are influenced by all types of music so it is hard to put us in a genre box... We love to play 50's and 60's music along with jazz and rock..."
All the band members of Blameless Child love the LORD and they each have made commitments in their lives to serve HIM! Blameless Child is a high energy band and encourages your involvement singing with their CD, lifting hands and clapping as they lead worship, or doing jumping jacks at one of their concerts, and who knows - you might get a Star Burst candy tossed to you if you're looking...
