Bio / Background
Songwriter and instrumentalist Trevor Hohenthaner composes music with an electronic backbone. As he says, “I like to call it ˜ballad electronica’ with a twist.” His themes and compositions reflect this young artist’s life events and experiences in a particularly personal manner.
Trevor began writing poetry in the fifth grade. “The first lyrical song I wrote was called ˜Those Golden Days’, a poppy composition with an alternative rock feel. The lyrics spoke of my old hometown and how wonderful it was. I wrote a lot of things years ago when I would be at school, especially on the school’s performance stage when the curtains were closed. I would turn on the lights, sit on a chair behind the prop desk and write away.”
Trevor’s musical experiences include composing with in-home studio software as well as playing several acoustic instruments, including piano and drums, to complement his electronic compositions.
