Bio / Background
Piano pop's alternative, Brian Kimmel, plays to raise your consciousness. His influences include Tori Amos, Billy Joel, Elton John, and Ben Folds Five. Three of his health-giving music CD's are available, on-line, through CD Baby and iTunes. "Love" (2005) sold over 1000 copies. He lives in Las Vegas, and practices Buddhist meditation in the tradition of Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hanh.
Brian writes: "When I was ten years old I started producing shows in my grandma’s kitchen. She’d serve appetizers and beverages to guests and I’d play music for them. Watching and hearing the audience members’ reactions, I discovered that my music had a profound effect on their healing. Relaxation happens, and a smile appears. Love and transformation has been my main motive to writing music and performing."
