BIG SHANG BIO
One of Washington, D.C.'s finest, BIG SHANG realizes that there's not a lot to know about D.C. There's been little success in the past for D.C. with artist Question Mark Asylum and probably the most successful rapper out of D.C., Nonchalant, who brought you "5:00 in the Morning," D.J. Cool "Let Me Clear My Throat" was a huge hit, and E.U. Classic doing "Da Butt" was also very successful, but what else does D.C. have to offer? The answer to your question - Big Shang - a multitalented producer and writer who lived all over the metropolitan area of D.C., V.A., and Maryland.
He started his career in 1989 and has not, no, could not be stopped since. He's a 250-pound wrecking ball, a powerhouse that's a fore to be reckoned with and has a no-nonsense hardcore East Coast style with a special twist. In 1993, Big Shang moved to Houston, TX to live with his father. He is currently staying in Houston and he adds a hint of southern twang to his hardcore smashmouth style.
