Bio / Background
BNAV's original sound is a mix of all classic American music – Pop, Country, Rock, Punk and Rockabilly – served with the feel of a Memphis barbecue.
BNAV has had a legendary past in Central Florida, sharing the stage with many up and coming and established acts over the years. Their mix of musicianship and humor has garnered them a solid following, positive press reviews and steady airplay on internet radio.
Founding members and songwriters Chris Tocco and Todd Staudinger are joined by longtime BNAV drummer Rick Boucher; and bassist/ songwriter Rob Kosinski. The debut CD is a 14 song compilation of original material with a power pop cover of the old Kenny Rogers hit Ruby (Don't Take Your Love to Town) thrown in for good measure. BNAV tackles styles ranging from Power Pop, Rock and Acoustic, to Rockabilly and Surfer Rock. They've done all of this without losing touch with their very distinctive sound.
↓ more ↓A tight rhythm section, distinctive lead vocals, tons of guitars, all topped off with killer harmonies. It's fresh, classic American music at its best.

Bettys Not A Vitamin Simply Rocks The House.avideo4u wrote on March 04, 2009
I have had the pleasure and privilege of seeing and hearing these guys perform live on more then a few occasions at Frenchy's & Kelly's Beach Bar on Clearwater Beach where I live as do most if not all of the band members. So while it may seem that my view is bias - here it is. These guys simply rock the house! For example the last time they played at Kelly's beach bar they packed the house - people / tourists simply decide to stay - where as other bands - well people could care less and leave. Not when these guys play.... their stage presence - sound - and delivery is 100%. Their is a vibe in the air - I suspect one day they get signed by a major label. Simply too good not to. The songs are sticky - and you just want to play their CD over and over again.
