Bio / Background
Better Left Behind began in the summer of 2005 in Springfield, Missouri when A.J. Moore and Ian Key started to write songs for a band (name undecided at this time). They were determined to put together a dedicated band who was motivated beyond all reason to create glorious music and share it with the world. Later that year in November, a talented young man by the name of Nate Metzger was added on bass guitar. They had their first show in December as a 3 piece, barely coming up with a name in time for the show. A month later lead guitarist Josh Widner hopped on board with screaming guitar harmonies and lead riffs that would literally rip you freaking face off. They wasted no time, and quickly recorded a 2 song demo with Jeff Smith @ Studio 2100. Later that year, they recorded their debut EP, right in time for lead guitarist Josh Widner to part ways with the group for a "better life" in Florida.
↓ more ↓After many long nights of walking through alleys and down empty sidewalks searching for a guitarist, they came across a man they would later know as Andy Nichols. And on top of that, they managed to find another man by the name of Andy (land of the rising) Sun, synthesizer extraordinaire ("Andy the sympathizer"). Their EP is now available!
