Indie Rock Pop
Bio / Background
Bel Auburn is an indie rock band from Mid-Ohio.
We've been playing together for just over three years.
The band consists of Scott, who plays the telecaster and sings the most; Mark, who plays the drums and sings the second most; Jared, who writes all the lyrics and makes noise with his guitar; Justin, who is Jared's little brother, and the guy on stage with the laptop; and our most newest addition, Mark Abrams, who plays bass and helps us work the rest of our instruments.
We live in the right atrium of the state, and like it just fine. We've had some opportunities to move away and live/play in some big cities, but for whatever reason, we love the fields and the fact that the houses around here still have front porches.
Scott spends his time selling high-end woodworking software. Peps sells cell phones. Justin manages a Hollister and sells racy t-shirts to adolescents. Abrams works at a media production company and runs his studio and makes metal/emo bands sound remarkably good.
↓ more ↓Jared deflects complaints from an interminable line of dissatisfied cell phone customers.
As far as the mission of the band goes, here's what we are about: We love music, and love people who love music. We try to write good songs, and then play out as much as we can and sing them for good people. No frills, no ego, no hyperbole. Just a show and some songs that we hope you enjoy.
We'd like to thank you for listening.
