Folk Rock storytelling for literate bumpkins.
Bio / Background
Beardwagon started round a pool on a tropical holiday. Started with filling a notebook and buying an acoustic guitar. Returning to Sydney recording slowly began along with learning how to record. Where to put the mics, which buttons to press. Listening to old folk records making mushroom risotto on hot summer nights. Drinking pink gins by streetlight with a fridge full of brownies, three day scrabble matches, hair still stiff with the dried sea salt. Over the space of a couple of months an album came together. Mixed expertly by Shannon O’Neill who unlike the Beardwagoners knows which button to press and which dial to twirl. A shining light in the dark forest of the recording process.
