Artist and saxophonist combines his visual experiences with music. This CD fuses Jazz and Latin, nicely, with alto and tenor saxophone solos. Timely bridges with Imaginative melodies.
Bio / Background
CD upholds jazz integrity while exploring modern and traditional sounds. Anthony writes," When Frederick the Great introduced
Bach to the newly invented piano (pianoforte), Bach was not shy to immediately improvise on the instrument. It would have been wrong for him to reject the instrument because of it's novelty.
Likewise, adding the element of fusion to jazz allows for greater experimentation with sounds. In the sense of taste, the right
combinations of spice recreates the craving for the dish again. Music can operate the same way. I personally enjoy trying new tastes even though I have a few favorites."
