Bio / Background
I'm Adrian Van Meter. This is my album from 2003, "Veteran". It reflects my musical interests at the time and represents an honest effort at making a genuinely worthwhile hard rock album. I think I did pretty well, but I suppose that's up to you, the listener, to decide.
The sound varies over the album, but for the most part it's just really heavy rock/metal. It's got screaming, it's got singing, it's even got just a bit of growling. The guitars are low and heavy. All the drums are real except for on track 5, "Porn Porn Porn", a song for which I've become rather famous. Seriously, people download that song on iTunes all the time. I suppose any attention is good attention, though, so I'm grateful.
I made this album by recording the drums first, then bass, then guitars, and finally vocals. It was all done digitally using professional recording equipment (a Presonus interface into Logic, if you're wondering).

dude's got range. alternative voice to a pretty good scream....I'm impressed. love the guitars too.....
