This is a maxi single, including some very rare Arrows tracks. The band explore a number of styles here including rock and power pop.
Bio / Background
The recordings on the EP are rare and offer another insight into the history of the band Arrows.
The band give their own treatment to classic Left Banke and Four Tops hit "Walk Away Renee" and it's surprising that they never released it as a single. Also Johnny Burnette's hit "Dreamin'" is performed here. This is a unique mix and vocal on this Arrows version, and not available anywhere else.
An Abbey Road studio recorded (TV track) version of the Arrows classic "I Love Rock N Roll" is also featured here with some studio patter by the band preceding it.
The bonus tracks are equally interesting, historically speaking. They feature the Arrows original drummer John Siomos, recorded in 1971. Siomos of course went on to fame with his work on "Frampton Comes Alive." This is the raw early Arrows, their first demos, and a must for any hardcore Arrows fan.
Apart from John Siomos, other notable musicians appearing here are Cozy Powell and Chris Spedding on "Dreamin'"
