Bio / Background

It appears that the album is the most serious, austere and undoubtedly mature creation among all other works performed by the band.

From a certain point the album is a creation of the star-members ever played in the band. After the previous album «Warsaw Zoo» characterized by wide, unruly raging of funk, the musicians came back closer to the main stream of modern jazz music, allowing some commercial nuances, like swing rhythm in «Zanzzara» and brilliant appropriate string section in «Instead Of You» and «One More Sad Melody».

Surely, the last piece is the pearl of the album, a pattern of elegiac lucidity with the orientation to classic masterpieces. Refined compositions of the albums, sharp shape of the pieces and precise arrangements are realized by the musicians who have the complete mutual understanding. It is a creative, friendly family sharing all it has today with everyone entering the album.
