Bio / Background
Anti Social Degenerates was founded in 1986-87, by Sean Varney, Jerry Wolny, Dave Bingham and Steve Kearns and is one of the most prolific "Oldschool" anarcho hardcore punk bands from the 80's still active in Detroit. We played blast beats a bazillion miles an hr, shreddin' guitars, speed pickin bass lines with free thinking, community orientated political lyrics from the Reagan administration era. We played every venue we could, and recorded about a half dozen demo's that we would send out to international collector's/distributors or traders that got us worldwide exposure. We only made it out of Detroit once because all are aggressive stage antics got us barred from the venues we frequently played. Buzz Jones replaced Steve on drums in 1988. We all packed up and headed out to Toledo to play with Music for the Deaf. And promote are new LP, and one we are most recognized for, is our 17 song infamous 4 track LP, "Hatemongers,.......A product of evolution".
