Bio / Background
Anne Miller is the new girl next door. Her honest, soulful, and sexy demeanor whirls its way through her lyrics and melodies. You can't put your finger on it, but you'd swear you've met her somewhere.
Anne started on her musical journey in high school, where she performed solos at holiday church service. In college she visited every karaoke bar in the Boston area, including the famed Cheers bar. Although Anne's goal was to finish film school, music always found its way into her projects and was an important part of her vision.
After moving to Los Angeles to work in the film industry, Anne joined a few different garage bands and hit the LA music scene . . . She also attended several performance workshops taught by Sue Fink at McCabe's Guitar Shop.
In 2003, Anne worked with Grammy-nominated producer Marta Woodhull and Grammy-nominated Producer/Arranger John Phillip Shenale. With their help she recorded her first song "Who Fell First".
