British-born/NYC-based pianist and singer-songwriter Anna Dagmar captivates listeners with her graceful voice and sweeping instrumental improvisations. A Unisong International Finalist and three-time Downbeat winner, Dagmar has received high acclaim for her first two albums, "One More Time in the Air," and "Solo Songs." Dagmar has now joined forces with the extraordinary producer Ben Wittman. The result is a musical match made in heaven. The release of "Anna Dagmar EP" was celebrated during the spring of 2006 in NYC and LA. Upcoming tours include Sweden, April 2007!
In addition to performing as a soloist and band leader, Dagmar collaborates with a wide variety of artists including sitarist Ikhlaq Hussain, cellist Martha Colby, song writer Nadine Goellner, guitarist Marc Shulman, and vocalist Theo Bleckmann.
