Classical and Jazz Christmas music from Los Angeles's premiere Brass Quartet. A must for every brass player.
Bio / Background
This Christmas CD has a variety of classical and jazz arrangements of christmas music specially written for a brass quartet. The group is lead by Los Angeles based studio trumpeter Chris Tedesco. The musicianship is impeccable, and the recording quality is state of the art. It was done the old way - "live" in the studio with no overdubs - four musicians playing at the same time from the beginning of the piece to the end......what a concept! This is great Christmas listening for classical and jazz fans alike!!

I was making a compilation/mix CD of brass band Christmas music when I came across this CD, and loved it's upbeat sound. Many of the songs unfortunately don't fit with the overall theme of the songs on my CD, but this would sound great by itself in any home.
