Bio / Background

“Patchwork Story” (releasing independently August, 2006) is Andra Suchy’s debut solo CD, although she has been performing, writing and recording in Minneapolis since 1996. Her recording credits include Soul Asylum’s “The Silver Lining,” The Honeydogs, “10,000 Years” and “Amygdala” among others. She has shared the stage with such artists as The Honeydogs, Dave Pirner, Jonny Lang,Chuck Suchy (her father), Ben Suchy (her brother), Tina Schlieske, Peter Ostroushko, and Jeff Healy to name a few. She was nominated for the Minnesota Music Academy “Female Vocalist Of The Year” in 2004 and 2005. “Patchwork Story” boasts a world class cast of musicians as well as heartfelt and sincere songwriting.
