Bio / Background
Today, millions of music fans are confused by and tired of, "what's hot & what is not." Even more so, are the thousands of artists who frantically chase after the latest trends, trying to jump on the bandwagon as it goes by. But always, there is another group of artists who doesn't want to be another poor sheep in the fashion's flock. They prefer to be a "Fashion Makers" instead.
And so is Ancient Tale! The band, which always like to mix lots of different music styles with very poetical and meaningful lyrics. Their debut album "Desire to Burn" features songs such as "Lamentation", Desire to Burn" & "Anti Urban Hymn", and deals with such things like Politics, Terrorism, Religion & Love.
"Ancient Tale" was formed in the middle of 1999 by Steve Gershon (Bass/Vocals) and Dave Sherman (Guitar), and previously was named "Fairytale". Band used to play an Alternative Pop Rock, with the elements of Trash and Goth.
