Acoustic guitarist and singer from the Pat McGee Band, captivating style and orginal, timeless writing.
Bio / Background
Thanks for checking out my music!
This album is dedicated to my father, Al Walsh Sr., who died in 1998 from cancer. He was the one who inspired me to pursue music, a great tenor that loved to sing. From his college days at Georgetown, singing with the Chimes to his later gigs with the Baltimore Barber Shop Quartet and finally as the cantor at his church. I'll always be indebted to him for the talents I inherited from him.
Life after the Pat McGee Band has been wonderfully busy with my wife Karen (the greatest gift I could ever wish for) and settling down in my hometown of Baltimore. We have just completed our recording studio and guitar academy "Epiphany", and look forward to getting back to making music. Keep a lookout for my new CDs both secular and praise and worship.
Finally I hope my music translates into something you can wrap your heart around. Let me know.
Thanks, Al
