Bio / Background
ALIEN SCRIBE aka Oscar Bryant Graham, is a contemporary American composer who uses a different way of composing.
If you have ever heard of people who can do "Automatic Writing", this "Automatic Music Composing" is the equivalent.
This music captures notes, rhythms and sounds unlike any other. It is not however for the faint of heart or the uninitiated, but for those wishing to take a journey into the unknown.
The process by which he composes is rather amazing. He first places himself in a meditative state and then just starts playing.
What is so amazing is that during these sessions his eyes are closed and knows nothing of what his hands are doing.
"I feel sort of like an alien scribe who just moves his hands around and somehow music pours out. I have to record every session or would be lost" he states.
Consequently, his music ranges from heavenly melodic to bleeding edge dissonance with tonalities and newly formed chord and rhythm structures never before heard.

A little scared about how he writes his music. Very unusual style and chord progression.
