Bio / Background

This first album from Adrian is simply put a beautiful and well-crafted album. Bass leads very predominantly in all of the songs, but Adrian has such a full and ear-pleasing tone here, the melodic position does not suffer at all. It ends up not so much sounding like a bass player's album as much as a series of very good songs. With different influences including some Spanish interludes and some Eastern European sounds covering a wide selection. He covers the emotional field well also, succesfully displaying mystery, tenderness, joy, romance, all through his song structure, and all of it instrumental. Recommended.
