Bio / Background
Bob & Teresa Nix are Executive Directors of The Abiding Place, a multi-faceted ministry located in Centerville, TX. that is dedicated to the vision of calling the Body of Christ to a deeper, more intimate place of fellowship and communion with our Lord. It is Bob & Teresa's passion to call Believer's from every background and tradition to re-examine their approach to spiritual formation and press their hearts to new levels of intimacy with Abba Father.
Bob holds a B.S. and Masters Degree in Education, is Board Certified by the Certified Christian Counselors Institure as a Christian Counselor. Bob has pastored 5 congregations and most recently was founding pastor of VineLife Christian Fellowship in Northeast Houston where he pastored for ten years.
Bob & Teresa have been in ministry together since 1975. They have five children, Jordan, Joshua, Jason, Jacob and wife Tammy, daughter Jessica and husband Jason Greenhaw and grand-daughter, Gwenevere Grace Greenhaw.
