The Surf

The Surf were originally spawned by the Athens, Georgia, music scene, but have long since scattered to the four winds, coming together when the music calls to create a sound that is at once distinctive and familiar. Comparisons to the Police, U2, and R.E.M. aside, the Surf sound nothing like their name, relying on dueling guitars, two lead singers, and a willingness to experiment to craft songs that defy both time and categorization.
