Styles:
New Wave, Pub Rock, Rock & Roll

The template for many pub-rock bands, The Rumour were the backing band for Graham Parker but they issued at least one album without him. They played an eclectic mix of rock, swing, country, reggae and what used to be called R&B. The band were Bob Andrews, Martin Belmont, Andrew Bodnar, Stephen Goulding and Brinsley Schwarz. They sounded like they did with Graham Parker but with less edginess. The style was like Brinsley Schwarz and Ducks Deluxe which isn't surprising as some of the members were in these bands too.
