(There are two artists called Gary Clark) Gary Clark 1: Gary Clark, born 10 March 1962, is a singer, musician, songwriter and producer. He first came to prominence as lead singer and guitarist of the band Danny Wilson. He formed the band in Dundee, Scotland in 1986 with his brother Kit on keyboards and friend Ged Grimes on bass. They produced smooth, intelligent, Steely Dan-influenced pop similar in style to contemporaries such as Deacon Blue and Prefab Sprout. Danny Wilson disbanded in February 1990 after two albums and the hit single Mary's Prayer.
